Draft of October 1, 2026

g.studio license terms

These terms govern the use of g.studio, the desktop app for Windows. By installing it or signing in, you accept them.

This translation is provided for convenience. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails. Draft text: have it reviewed by a lawyer before selling.

License

We grant you a personal, perpetual, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use g.studio.

The license is for one person. You can install g.studio on the PCs you use, always with your own account.

g.studio is licensed, not sold. The software, its code and its brand remain ours.

What the license does not allow

You may not sell, lend or share your account or your license with other people.

You may not redistribute the installer or publish copies of g.studio.

You may not circumvent the license validation or modify the app to do so.

One-time payment

The license is paid once, at the price published on the g.studio page at the time of purchase.

There are no renewals, subscriptions or recurring charges.

Updates

The license includes the updates we publish while the project remains in active development.

We do not guarantee a timeframe, number or frequency of updates.

g.studio features may change from one version to another.

If the project is discontinued

If we stop developing g.studio, the version you have installed keeps working.

In that case we publish a final version that does not depend on our server to validate the license.

If we cannot publish it, we notify you with reasonable advance notice before shutting down the license server.

Online validation and remote deactivation

The app validates your license online with our server. To do so it records an anonymous PC id, the operating system and the app version.

For security reasons, we may remotely disable a version with a serious flaw and ask you to install a newer one.

We may also suspend an account for misuse, for example if it is shared, the installer is redistributed or the validation is circumvented.

Third-party services

g.studio works with third-party services that you configure, such as Claude Code and the Anthropic API, GitHub and any others you connect in the wizard.

Each service is governed by its own terms. The accounts, plans and costs of those services are your responsibility.

We are not responsible for the availability of those services or for the changes they make.

Your code and your data

The code in your repos and the data of your projects are not uploaded to our servers.

The app works on your PC and connects directly to the services you configure. What we store is detailed in the privacy policy.

Beta program

While the beta lasts, g.studio is free.

The beta is offered with no availability guarantees. It may have bugs, change or be interrupted at any time.

A new account stays on the waitlist until we approve it.

No warranties

To the extent permitted by law, g.studio is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that it works without errors or that the changes made by the experts are correct.

Review the changes before publishing them. Push, merge to your working branch, deploy and remote migrations ask for your approval.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

We are not liable for loss of data, code or profits, or for interruptions to your work.

Keep backups of your repos and your vault.

Termination of the license

The license ends if you breach these terms. In that case you must stop using g.studio.

Refunds

TODO: define the timeframe, the conditions and how to request a refund.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we publish the new version on this page with its date.

If the change affects your license, we notify you at your account email.

Governing law and jurisdiction

TODO: define the governing law and the competent courts.
